Josie was born and raised in Neshoba County, Ms., after she and Lenard married they made their home in Quitman, Clarke County, Ms.
Josie was always willing to do anything she could to help others, she had such a sweet spirit about her, to know her was to love her.
Josie died August 6, 2010 at the age of 92, her interment was at the Cross Roads Methodist Church Cemetery.

Graveside services for Josie V. Wright will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Crossroads Church Cemetery with the Revs. Jason Gross and Paul Edwards officiating. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wright, 92, of Quitman, died Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, at Lakeside Living Center.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald L. and Brenda Wright; daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Richard Schrimpshire; two brothers, Edward Williams and Lemuel Williams; sisters, Doris Mott and Elizabeth Owens; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Don Campbell, Danny Gray, Ronny Fagan, Joe Williams, Dennis Williams and Shane Simmons.
The family requests memorials be made to your favorite charity.
Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
