Christine Elizabeth Rivenberg, 85, of 9 Circle Dr., went to be with the Lord Wednesday evening, May 7, 1986.

She was predeceased by her husband, Fred W. Rivenberg.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Robert (Beverly) Hemenway, Binghamton; a granddaughter, Janie Hemenway, Binghamton; three grandsons, Charles Dailey, Deposit, Terry Dailey, Nineveh, Randy Dailey, Florida; nine great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Etta M. Hawk; several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Westover Methodist Church and was a member of the Johnson City Eastern Star #680.

Funeral services will be held at the J. F. Rice Funeral Home Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City, Saturday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Leighton E. Pitkin, pastor of her church will officiate. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to the Westover Methodist Church in Mrs. Rivenberg's memory.
