Marian Leota (Shade) Gilmore
Marian Leota (Shade) Gilmore, 93, died Friday, Sept. 24, 1999, at Franklin United Methodist Community. She was a resident of Franklin.
She was born Nov. 4, 1905, in Sullivan. She was the daughter of Leota (Harbaugh) Shade. She married Harry C. Gilmore on Aug. 24, 1924. He preceded her in death May 30, 1975. Survivors include several cousins and close friends.
She graduated from Sullivan High School.
She was a homemaker and a member of Tabernacle Christian Church in Franklin. She was a former member of Sullivan Christian Church in Sullivan.
The Rev. John Eley and Allen Buzard will conduct a service at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wright Memorial Chapel at Franklin United Methodist Community. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the chapel. Allen Buzard will conduct graveside services at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan.
