Kendra England Smith, 47, of Seymour, IN, formerly of Crothersville, IN passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 9:09 AM at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital in Orlando, FL while on vacation.
Born November 10, 1962 in Seymour, Kendra was the daughter and only child of the late Kenneth "Sonny" England (July 29, 1998) and Norma (Napier) England who resides in Seymour.
Kendra graduated from Crothersville High School in 1981 and Watterson Business College. She was employed by Wal Mart Distribution where she worked in the traffic office as a secretary. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Crothersville, a 25 year Phi Beta Psi Sorority member, and served on the Crothersville Schools School Board from 2005 to 2008. Kendra worked on numerous charitable events thru her employer, Wal Mart Distribution, where she enjoyed being able to help others.
Kendra's favorite pastime was shopping, taking walks on the beach and being around those that she loved, her family and friends. On November 27, 1999 Kendra married Lanny Smith who survives in Seymour. Other survivors include children, Meigan Smith (Josh) Vest, and Spencer Smith, all of Seymour, IN. She is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
