Williams, Yvette M. 61, of Gladstone, MO., passed away August 5, 2010. Services: Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m., Monday, August 9, 2010 followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Burial will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, in Calvary Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. She was the first daughter born to Bessie and Johnnie Jones on a beautiful day in August in St. Louis, MO. There, she attended public schools and later enrolled in Tarkio College in Missouri. She made a career move to Kansas City, MO., in September 1976 as a hospital administrator of Western Missouri Mental Center. There she made a full and successful life. She later met and married former husband Michael F. Johnson and step-daughter Michelle Johnson. She later persuaded her mother, sisters, niece and nephew to move to Kansas City to be closer to her. She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved dog, Petey, a.k.a. "Son"; brother, Johnnie Jones, Jr., and wife, LaRita and their 3 children and 8 grandchildren; sisters, Marcia A. Jones and her child, Dana J. Atkins, and husband Ronald and their 2 children; Pamela F. Hill, and husband, William and their 2 children. She is preceded in death by brothers, Christopher, Keith, and Rodney Jones; grandmother, Viola Maxwell and mother Bessie Owens. We miss you now, forever and always. You are loved. (Arr: D.W.
