Velma Irene Smith, 95, of Mountainburg died Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, in her home.

was a homemaker, charter member of Calvary Baptist Church in Fayetteville and the widow of Frank Smith.

Funeral was 10 a.m. Monday at Ocker of Alma Funeral Home with burial at Steward Cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Downs of Spiro and Kathleen O'Kelley of Rudy; four sons, James, Ronald and Randall Smith, all of Mountainburg, and Frank Smith of Fort Smith; three sisters, Oletha Young of Tulsa, Ann Peters of Rudy and Edwina Ball of Fort Smith; a brother, Harlan Brammer of Mountainburg; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers were granddaughters.
