After Susanna Coffman Meals Death he married Margaret Singleton and they had one child, It seems to be a well known fact from decendents that he donated the land where Pleasent Hill Cemetary now stands, in looking through Cemertary records one of his children was named Pleasent C. and was probable the first person buried there. Pleasent C was found in the Meals family bible his birth is recorded then marked out, indicating death soon after birth. Cemetary books of henderson County list a Meals Cemetary with 3 or 4 graves marked with snadstone. since so many records curnt in a court house fire these could have been some of William's children.
