Claire was the daughter of Ruth M. (Derry) and Howard Brown.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
She is survived by one daughter, Sandie Burroughs (Allen) Malmstrom; one son, John (Lori) Lewis; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was one of the original Meter Maids for the City of Peoria, retiring in 1984 after 25 years.
