Andrew David 'Cat' Bridges, 99, Springfield, Missouri, formerly of Fulton, Missouri, died Monday , January 22, 1996. He was born December 13, 1896 in Portland, Mo, a son of the late Andrew David and Ida Louise Bridges. He was married Feb. 20, 1923, to Naomi Ruth Boone in Jefferson City, Mo.
She survives at the home. He served in the Army during World War 1. He was a rural letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for many years. He was a member of the Mokane Masonic Lodge and Rural Letter Carriers Association.
Other survivors include a son, Harold David Bridges, Independence, Mo and a daughter, Kathleen Louise Taylor, Springfield, Mo.
Services will be at 11am, Thursday, Jan. 25 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton. Reverand Stephen Sowder will officiate. Burial will be at Portland Cemetary in Portland, Mo.
