GIBBON — Raymond L. Dahl, 86, formerly of Gibbon died Sunday, Oct. 12, 1997, at Winthrop Good Samaritan Care Center.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon with burial in the Clear Lake Baptist Cemetery in Severance Township, Sibley County.
Visitation is one hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Arnold and Renata Dahl of Watertown and 11 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death brothers, Lawrence, William, Herbert and LeRoy Dahl.
He was born on Sept. 11, 1911, in Gibbon to John and Ida (Nelson) Dahl. He served in U.S. Army during World War II. He worked for Sibley County in maintenance and retired in 1974. He was a member of American Legion Post 226 in Gibbon.
