PLAYER--At his residence, in the 19th Ward, August 29th, 3:30 a.m. Charles W. Player, stonecutter. Deceased was born in the City of London, England, June 19, 1827. He was the son of Wm. W. and Zillah Player; emigrated with his parents to Nauvoo in the summer of 1841, and worked on the Nauvoo Temple. He arrived in Salt Lake City the fall of 1852, worked steadily on the Temple from the commencement until 1882 when illness compelled him to stop. He was a good honest man and a faithful Latter-day Saint. He was a member of the 37th Quorum of Seventies. He leaves a wife and 12 children to mourn his departure. Peace to his ashes.

Funeral serves in the 19th Ward Meeting House, Sunday August 31st, at 11:30 a.m. Friends of the family are invited to attend.
