Jack was the son of James Thomas Anderson, Sr. and Susan Emmaline (Phillips) Anderson.

Jack was married three times. His first marriage was to Sally Ketchum. No record of dates or place of marriage. I do not show any children for them. They were divorced.

While Jack was visiting his brother in Brownwood, Brown County, Texas, John Alexander Anderson, Jack met Emma Oveby Gilbert. They began dating and they were married on December 5, 1885 in Brownwood, Brown County, Texas. I show they had two daughters, and later divorced. While in Brown County in 1996, I got a copy of their marriage license which is in Jack's Family History Book.

1--Valda [1888-1979]
2--Virginia "Virgie" Bell [1890-????]

While still living in Texas, Jack met Sallie Williams, whom he married June 29,1896 in Brownwood, Brown County, Texas. Together they had five children. They were later divorced in Garland County, Arkansas.

1--Essie [1900-1926]
2--Donald "Don" [1902-????]
3--Vera [1911-????]
4--Paul, Sr. [1915-????]
5--Thelma [1917-????]

A copy of Jack and Sallie's marriage license is in his Family History Book, which I got in Brown County in 1996.

Jack's headstone is the funeral home metal marker. There is a difference in his birth and death dates that I show.

I show Jack born 1859, Died--1937. The marker says his birth was in 1868 and he died in 1933. I have left the dates that I had. If someone has proof of his birth and death dates, please contact me.

The picture of Jack was taken from an old tin pictue that is in the Anderson Family Bible that I now have. It belonged to my g-g-grandmother Cyntha Ann (Pond) Anderson, which was given to her on January 6, 1886 by her husband, John Alexander Anderson. There are many old tin pictures in this Bible. The headstone marker was added by "widowmate". Thank you.

Jack was my great grand uncle.
