Son of George Economopolos & Nicolitsa Economopolos who were both born in Greece.

Peter served as a Private First Class, 31st Infantry Regiment, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on May 10, 1941, prior to the war, in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed in a sawmill and also as Single, without dependents.

Peter "Died While A POW" of the Japanese Army in the Philippine Islands during the war.

He was awarded the "Distinguished Service Cross", Prisoner Of War Medal, and the Purple Heart.
