Son of Dominic Demosi & Florence LaRock Demosi.

Ronald served as a Seaman, First Class, U.S.S. Lexington (CV-16), U.S. Navy during World War II.

He resided in Winooski, Chittenden County, Vermont prior to the war.

The Lexington was hit by a Japanese kamikaze on November 5, 1944 that crashed near the Lexington's island, destroying most of the island structure in the Battle of Leyte Gulf during the war.

Ronald "Died Of Wounds" the next day after the kamikaze attack.

He was awarded the Purple Heart.

He was buried at sea.

Service # 8251050

The crew of Lexington received the Presidential Unit Citation for heroism in action against enemy Japanese forces, 11 battle stars for major engagements during World War II service, and other awards.

The Lexington survived the war and is now a Museum Ship on the Bay in Corpus Christi, Texas.
