He resided in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin prior to the war.

B-24J #44-41258 took off, with a crew of 10, from Mokmer Airfield, Biak, Numfor Regency, Papua Province, Indonesia on a strike mission over Libby Airfield, Mindanao, Philippines.
