He resided in New York County, New York prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on January 8, 1942 in New York City, New York. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a linemen and also as Married.

Henry was "Killed In Action" when his B-17F was hit by enemy aircraft and crashed near Auray, France during the war.

He was awarded the Purple Heart.
