He resided in Kings County, New York prior to the war.
He enlisted in the Army on January 11, 1944 at Fort Dix, New Jersey. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being Single, without dependents.
The B-24 that he was on was last seen by others to explode right before it crashed into the sea. Cause is currently unknown and the entire crew perished.
Frank was declared "Missing In Action" in this crash during the war.
He was awarded the Air Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster and the Purple Heart.
