PFC Morton Topkis Wolson

Son of Julius Wolson and Zipporah Topkis Wolson.

Morton, who resided in Wilmington, Delaware, served as a Private First Class with Company A, 346th Infantry Regiment, 87th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He was "Killed In Action" near Obergailbach, Germany during the war.

He had served in the Army for one year and one month at the time of his death and was decorated with a Purple Heart with one Oak Leaf Cluster.

He also has a "Cenotaph" in the Jewish Community Cemetery,
Wilmington, Delaware.
