Elbert Knight, an old resident of the county, died at his home, seven miles northwest of this place, Sunday morning, of pneumonia. Deceased was born in Ohio 55 years ago, and came to Iowa 30 years ago when this section of the country was a howling wilderness. He leaves a family of six sons and one daughter to mourn his loss.
