Harold, who resided at 822 Adams Street, Wilmington, Delaware, served as a Technician Fifth Grade in the 104th Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He enlisted in the Army on January 28, 1942 at Fort Dix, New Jersey. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as as being employed as a Fireman and also as being Married.

Harold was "Killed In Action" at Moncourt, France.

He had served in the Army for two years and nine months at the time of his death and was decorated with the Purple Heart.
