Edward served as a Private First Class, 261st Infantry Regiment, 65th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Merrimack County, New Hampshire prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on May 24, 1941, prior to the war, in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a Architect and also as Single, without dependents.

Edward died in the "Line Of Duty" of a non-battle related incident during the war.
