Roy was the only child born to Amos E. (1900-1973) and Lina Downs-Berry.

He married Dymple Ruth Martin (1916-1966) on 24 Jan 1942 at Walters, Cotton Co, Oklahoma.

He died without knowing he had twins born March 1945.

12th Armored Division - known as the "Hellcats" - Roy Berry is listed as KIA (Killed in Action) and there is a Gold Starred Memorial KIA paver for him at our Museum in Abilene, Texas.
