Son of George C. Dupont who resided in Concord, Maine.

Marcel served as a Second Lieutenant & Pilot on P-47D #42-75067, 386th Fighter Squadron, 365th Fighter Group, U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II.

He resided in Merrimack County, New Hampshire prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on March 25, 1941, prior to the war, in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a Railroad Brakemen and also as Single, without dependents.

Marcel was "Killed In Action" in France during the war.

He was awarded the Air Medal and the Purple Heart.
