Son of Donat Doucet who resided in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Wilfred served as a Private, 501st Parachute Infantry Regt, 101st Airborne Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire & was a member of the New Hampshire National Guard prior to the war.

His National Guard unit was called into full time active Army service on February 24, 1941, prior to the war, from Manchester, New Hampshire. He was noted, at that time, as being employed as a Clerk and also as Single, without dependents.

Wilfred "Died Of Wounds" received in action in France during the war.

He was awarded the Purple Heart.
