Keison: ( b. May 18, 1924, d. Apr 13, 2004) Donald R. Keison, 79, died at his home in Spokane on April 13, 2004. He was born May 18, 1924, in Ritzville, the son of Tafel and Mary (Reiber) Keison. He grew up on the family farm near Ralston, graduating from Ritzville High School in 1942. He married Harriet Smith of Odessa on Nov 16, 1942. Within months, Don joined the US Army and was assigned to combat engineers serving in Saipan and Okinawa during WW II. He is survived by his wife, grandchildren; a brother, Tom Keison, of Hayden, ID; and a sister, Marianne Heinemann of Spokane. Interment was at Ritzville Memorial Cemetery.
