Son of Charles and Elizabeth Agett of 117 Senate Road, Port Pirie West, South Australia. A Labourer prior to enlisting in the Australian Imperial Force on 2 June 1916; he embarked from Adelaide for active service abroad on 14 August 1916 per HMAT "Itria" (A53). He died of wounds received in action at the 3rd Australian Field Ambulance, France, aged 19 years.
