Betty A. "Granny" McFee, 76, of Parkersburg died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Albert Elliott and Beulah Kimble Elliott West.
She worked at Wilson's Market from 1951 until 1995 and also worked at Ralph's Market. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of more than 55 years, Harold McFee; five children, Becky Cline (Gary), Kathy Jarvis, Lori McFee, Michael McFee (Missy), and Rose Dawson; nine grandchildren, Amy Sayre (Rod), Dena Morton (Bret), Nathan Cline, Valerie Jarvis, Brittany and Kaytlyn Dawson, Loren McFee (Stephanie), and Shawn and Charles McFee; five great-grandchildren, Madison and Breanna Sayre, Seth and Hali Morton, and Michaela McFee; a sister, Wanda Stats (Blaine); four brothers, Charles, Arthur, John (Donna), and David (Jennifer) Elliott; a special sister-in-law, Barbara Elliott; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry, Robert and Albert Jr.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Jerry Caplinger officiating. Burial will be at K of P Cemetery in Elizabeth. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. today.
