LANDRETH-Clara A., 96, of 735 SE Flint, died Oct. 13, 1971, at a Roseburg nursing home. Born May 11, 1875, on the Applegate River in Jackson County. Married Nov. 15, 1899, at Coos Bay, Ore., to Novia Landreth who preceded her in death in 1961. She had attended the Drain Normal School and was a resident of the community since 1933. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Roseburg. Survivors: 2 sons, Merle Landreth, Federal Way, Wash., Novia Landreth, Walnut Creek, Calif.; 1 sister, Bonnie Walker, Coquille; 4 grand-children, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct 18, 10 a.m. at the Long & SHukle Memorial Chapel with Pastor N. Rudolph Johnson officiating. Private interment, Civil Bend Cemetery, Winston.
