Private Aaron Sabblut, Saskatoon Light Infantry. Born on the 20th of January 1921 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and killed in action on the 15th of July 1943.

Aaron was with the First Infantry Division Support Battalion, Machine Gun when he was killed in the advance towards Caltagirone. He was buried near Grammichele and later reburied at Agira.

Aaron lived in Vancouver with his parents and one brother. His brother also served overseas with the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps. His father had fought in World War 1 with the Cameron Highlanders. Aaron enlisted on the 3rd of June 1942 in Winnipeg.
