Glenn served as a Private First Class, 143rd Infantry Regiment, 36th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Custer County, Idaho prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on April 27, 1944 at Fort Douglas, Utah. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a Driver and also as Single, without dependents.

Glenn was originally declared "Missing In Action" in France during the war. His remains were later recovered and his status changed to "Killed In Action". He was awarded the "Bronze Star" and the Purple Heart.

Glenn is now interred in the Elmwood Cemetery, Gooding, Idaho.
