Husband of Marjorie C. Patten who resided in Milton, Massachusetts.

George served as a First Lieutenant & Bombardier on B-24J "The Moose" #44-40205, 853rd Bomber Squadron, 491st Bomber Group, Heavy, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in Norfolk County, Massachusetts prior to the war.

George was "Killed In Action" when his B-24 was shot down and crashed near Gahrden, Germany during the war.

He was awarded the Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters and the Purple Heart.
