Roger served as a Private First Class, 157th Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Belknap County, New Hampshire prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on September 16, 1943 in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was noted as being employed in the manufacture of miscellaneous products and also as Single, with dependents.

Roger was originally declared "Missing In Action" during the war and was awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart with one Oak Leaf Cluster!

"Roger's remains have been recovered and he is now listed as Killed In Action".

It is unknown at this time where he is interred.
