Dwight "Andy" Anderson.
Russell was a childhood friend, and lived on the adjoining farm, to PFC Floyd E. Williams, Jr.. They were noted by family that they were inseparable as they grew up.
The daughter of S/Sgt Campbell was at Epinal on May 16, 2016 for the first time in her life. She was only three months old at the time of her father's death.
Her father's older brother came home from the war and married her mother. So in fact her uncle was her dad. Very nice lady and she was so happy to finally be here. She came to see both her father and PFC Williams' grave as she is now cousins with the Williams family.
It is ironic that although Williams & Campbell were in different units they both died within days of each other. Their parents did not realize they could have had them buried side by side but knew they were here together as they knew the two would have wished.
