Rudolph served as a Private First Class, 350th Infantry Regiment, 88th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Merrimack County, New Hampshire prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on June 29, 1942 in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed in a machine shop and also as Single, without dependents.

Rudolph was "Killed In Action" near Laiatico, Italy during the war.

He was awarded the "Bronze Star" and the Purple Heart.
