Son of Albert Marsee Lupton and Edith Pierson Tunnell Lupton.

George, who resided at 338 Market Street, Lewes, Delaware, served as a 1st Lieutenant and navigator with the Fifteenth Air Force, U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

He enlisted in the Army on January 27, 1941, prior to the war, in Georgetown, Delaware. He was noted as being employed as a Clerk and also as being Single, without dependents.

He was "Killed In Action" over Hungary during the war.

He had served in the Air Corps for four years and one month at the time of his death and was decorated with the Air Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters.
