Bert Everett Lickliter, Son of William N and Mary Davison of Oklahoma City, USA. Bert was served with the USAAF in WWII and lost his life when his plane, B17G 43-38211 100th Bomber Group crashed near Oberkotzau, Landkreis Hof, Bavaria, Germany...

The airplane was hit by enemy fighters just after bombs away. The right wing burst into flames and it fell off on his right wing, spinning down into the ground. It was almost completely in flames when it fell from formation.
