He is the son of Mr. Charles & Mrs. Myrtle Conley of 210 Broadway in Pekin, Illinois, and is 1943 graduate of Pekin H.S., and enlisted a short time later, and did his training at the Aerial Gunner's School at Las Vegas, Nevada, and was in England by June of 1944.
Besides his parents, he leaves one brother, Sgt. Howard Conley of the Army, and three sisters, Miss Frances, Miss Erma Jane, and Miss Mary Louise, all at home. And foremost, Sgt. Conley's fiancee, Miss Bertha Lucille Watson.
