Mrs. Melvin BATES died December 12 at the home of her mother at Tow Creek. She was 34 years old. Funeral Services were conducted in Mt. Harris at the Moose lodge hall Monday afternoon. Rev. G. E. Kitchen was in charge of the services. She is survived by her husband, a son, Marvin Donald, her mother, Mrs. J. R. COCHRAN, and a brother, Walter W. MANSFIELD of Craig.
Naomi G. MANSFIELD was born in Okeene, Oklahoma, September 03, 1897. May 23, 1922, she was married to Melvin BATES at Craig. They lived for two years at Mt. Harris and then went to Detroit, Michigan, where they stayed until June, 1930. At that time they returned to Mt. Harris where they have since made their home.
