BELOVED UNCLE:
Son of William E. and Edna Burton Lundgren. Educated in Albany public schools. United States Marine during Korean War era. He was the brother of William E. Lundgren, Jr. who passed away in 1986, and my mom, E. Irene Lundgren Sommers, who passed away in 1994.
Uncle Don married Catherine Garrison on March 17, 1957. He was the father of Marshall, Jr.,Donna Kay and Michele Ann. He only lived to see his first grandchild, Mark Martinez, son of Donna, who was born November 5, 1985. Four grandchildren were born after his passing: Kristen, Ashley and Michael Lundgren and Jeremy Buker.
My uncle passed away of a heart attack at age 52. He was a diabetic and all of his arteries were collapsed - this happened in the days before artificial valves were used (or stents).
