Husband of Lillian Curtin Pancoast.

Roger, who resided at 306 West Twenty-Eighth Street, Wilmington, Delaware, served as a Staff Sergeant with the 695th Armored Field Artillery Battalion, U.S. Army during World War II.

He enlisted in the Army on October 23, 1941, prior to the war, at Fort Dix, New Jersey. He was noted as being employed as a mechanic and also as being Single, without dependents at the time of his enlistment.

He was "Killed In Action" in France during the war.

He had served in the Army for two years and ten months at the time of his death and was decorated with a Purple Heart.
