On June 9 1932, James Lawson Gilbert married Mary Edith Underwood. They were the parents of: (1) Donald LaRoy Gilbert who chose to go by Roy D Gilbert ( May 24 1953- to Dec 15 1988) (2) Aldon Lawson ( Oct 19 1934 to July 14 2001) (3) Hazel Gilbert Shirley ( Aug 6 1936 to Oct 29 2016) (4) Frances Helen Marchbanks (June 11 1938 to Aug 4 2013 (5) Alma Gilbert Gilstrap. She was married th Grady Leroy Gilstrap and they were the parents of Dale Gilstrap. Grady was killed in a motorcycle accident ion Oct 2 1966. Very probably Alma remarried. Pearlie's obituary stated she was survived by her sister, Alma, but did give a last name. Alma May have died in 2020 but so far her info has not been found. (6) Pearlie Edith Durham ( March 16 1943 to July7 2018).
