CHADBOURN---I. O. Lowery, 75 of the Hopedale section, died in Robeson County Hospital Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock after an illness of two weeks. Funeral Services will be held from the Hopedale Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Stanley Howard will officiate. Burial will be in the Owens Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, the former Lela Gibson; two sons, Montgomery of Tabor City and Harvey of Hampton, Va.; two daughters, Mrs, Inez Messins of Pasadena, Texas and Mrs. Sue Owens of North Lumberton; two brothers, Dock of Bladenboro and Dellie of Hallsboro; three sisters, Mrs. Viola Carter of Wilmington, Mrs. Katie Sawyer of Fayettevilie and Mrs. Mattie Graves of Tabor City; 23 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
