Son of George W. and Barbara Crim; born August 31, 1890 at Winamac, Pulascki County, Indiana. Occupation: Automobile mechanic. Entered service October 28, 1917 at Indianapolis, Indiana. Sent to Camp Morrison, Virigina; thence to Omaha, Nebraska. Assigned to Company A, 9th Aero Squadron. Went overseas in June 1918. Died of pneumonia on September 29, 1918. Buried in Grave 57, American Cemetery, Allery, Department of Seine et Loire. Died at age 28 years, 29 days. Time in service: 11 months, 2 days.
