Son of Willard B. Eddy, Sr. who resided in Rochester, New York.

Willard served as a First Lieutenant and pilot on B-25D #41-30355, 448th Bomber Squadron, 321st Bomber Group, Medium, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided at 87 Nunda Blvd., Rochester, Monore County, New York prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on August 19, 1941, prior to the war, in Buffalo, New York. He was noted as being employed as an Architect and also as Single, without dependents.

Willard was "Killed In Action" on a Bombing Mission On The Velletri Road Junction in Italy during the war. He was awarded an Air Medal and a Purple Heart.
