Robert served as a Private First Class, 3708th Quartermaster Truck Company, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Rockingham County, New Hampshire prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on October 14, 1942 in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was noted as being employed in the manufacture of knit goods and also as Single, without dependents.

Robert died in the "Line Of Duty" of a non-battle related incident during the war.
