Harry served as a Staff Sergeant & Left Waist Gunner on B-24M "Red Bow" #44-50838, 714th Bomber Squadron, 448th Bomber Group, Heavy, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in Montana prior to the war.

Harry was declared "Missing In Action" when his B-24 was attacked by German ME 262s and crashed near Hamburg, Germany during the war. His remains were not recovered.

He was awarded and Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters and a Purple Heart.
