Eino R. Ahonen, son of Mrs. Esther Aho, 112 Sixth street southeast, was killed in action in Germany, Nov. 18, 1944, and was buried in Holland. Entering the service the service Oct. 15, 1943 he was a member of the 175th Infantry Regiment 29th Infantry Division and was awarded the combat infantryman's badge.
