Captain John Robert WALKER was killed on July 14, 1943 while escorting B-17 bombers during a raid on Le Bourget airfield in the Paris suburbs, provided an escort to the end of his range during bombardment missions in the penetration phase.

The location of the fall is being identified by the association A.R.H.M. "Mémoire et Patrimoine Militaire", it hopes to help find the trace of the body
