Entered the service from Texas. Corporal James W Parks, Service Number: 18217836, flew as radio operator and aerial gunner on B-24 Liberators with the 715th Bomber Squadron, 448th Bomber Group. On mission to Kiel in B-24 42-7709 'Maid of Tin', crew and aircraft failed to return. Presumed to have been shot down over the Baltic Sea. Awarded the Air Medal and Purple Heart.
