First Lieutenant Wallace C Murray, Service Number: O-821535, flew as P-51 Mustang Fighter Pilot with the 370th Fighter Squadron, 359th Fighter Group. According to the American Air Museum in Britain website, 1Lt. Murray was "Missing in Action (MIA) crashed near Dievenow (Poland) on 7 Oct 44 in P-51 'Sandra Lynn' 43-25067."
